ABOUT THE TOUR

This tour visits main historical sites built during Ottoman era. It starts at 09:00 am from your hotel and finishes around 17:00. The tour can be longer or shorter depending on your interest. We can run this tour with a private van or if you like to mingle with the locals little bit we can use public transport as well. 

This is a great tour if you have an interest to Ottoman era of Istanbul and your profesional local guide will bring that era back to life with their great stories. 

THE TOUR COVERS: Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Suleymaniye Mosque, Rustempasa Mosque, Spice Market including some secret sites. 

INCLUDED: Hotel pick up and drop back, Entrance fees to the sites, Guiding by Professional Tourist Guide, Full Day Private Van (Mercedes Vito or Mercedes Sprinter), Lunch at Deraliye Restaurant

 

THE ITINERARY

You will first proceed to Topkapi Palace. Unlike most tours offered to travelers, the Harem section will be included in your visit as well to get a better understanding of the Ottoman culture. Then you will continue to Blue Mosque. After the mosque you will have a lunch break at Deraliye Restaurant. From here you will walk through the Grand Bazaar, Bayazit Square and finally reach to the grandest mosque of Istanbul, the Suleymaniye Mosque. After visiting the mosque, you will head downhill to the Rustempasa Mosque which was commissioned by Suleyman’s son-in-law. It is believed that this small mosque has the best quality and design of Iznik Tiles in the city. After trying the best baklava in Istanbul near the mosque, you will continue to the Spice Market. Depending on the time of the year and your preference as well, we can also add a Boshorus tour by boat for 1,5 hours.

Hotel pick up

You will be met at your hotel by your guide and your private A/C van. After the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel by the van as well.
